Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about BrewDog Milton Keynes

This was a Draught House when I last visited, and unusually it didn't require a full makeover because it was unready in the usual semi-industrial style. The main bar/ dining area has a double-height glazed frontage, with additional tables upstairs on a small mezzanine and out on a narrow front terrace. With 27 of the 28 craft keg taps in use, there was the usual wide selection of the brewery's own and guest beers plus a couple of ciders. After the usual dithering, I went for the 6.8% We Put our Bock into It from Round Corner (£6.10 schooner).

Aqualung . left this review about The Secklow Hundred (Lloyds No. 1)

Like it's sister pub diagonally across the Boulevard of Broken Dreams this is another glass and steel abomination, although the staff seemed a bit more personable here. It's a Lloyds No. 1 so is open late on Friday and Saturday and has music in the evening. During the day it's rather like going for a drink in an office.
On the bar there were two sets of five pumps. One had the two GK beers, Doom Bore, London Pride and the Terrapin American brew by Everard's. The other bank of pumps had three ciders, Hook Norton Lion and a beer available soon. I went for the American Terrapin beer (£2.35) that was in good condition.
The Spoons web site says that no sports wear is allowed on Friday and Saturday after 21:00. I assume this means football shirts and the like rather than the bizarre and very bad taste clothing that golfers and snooker players wear.

Blackthorn _ left this review about The Secklow Hundred (JD Wetherspoon)

A modern, purpose built Lloyds No. 1 in the centre of Milton Keynes. Inevitably it doesn’t have much in the way of character, but it’s a tidy and up together sort of place, perhaps recently refurbished. There is a patio area at the front if you fancy some fresh air.

It’s a surprisingly small venue for JDW, with just one downstairs bar and a few seats on a balcony upstairs. Unlike many of the company’s Lloyds establishments, there is no sign of a dance floor or DJ console. The downstairs area consists of a double height entrance foyer with floor to ceiling glass windows, and there are modern glass partitions elsewhere. Beyond this is a bar counter running the full length of the right hand side, and a raised area off to the left. Decor was the usual bland, corporate affair, this time with mustard colour paintwork, and there were a couple of plasmas dotted around showing a news channel. The only feature of any note was a gas effect fire with a conical chimney hood and a flue running up to the ceiling.

Beers on tap were the usual Ruddles Best and Abbot Ale, plus Pedigree, Holder’s Golden Ale and Hopping Mad Fruitcase. Adnams IPA was apparently coming soon. Less successful was the cider offering – pumps on the bar were Strongbow and Thatcher’s Gold, but the latter was off due to a “frozen line” which I was told would not be defrosted anytime soon. A drinks list displayed prominently on the bar also listed Stowford Press, but this was apparently not stocked at that particular pub!
