A single-room town boozer with a sporting theme, it also has a skittle alley adjoining the bar. There is a dartboard and a multiplicity of TV screens plus a large screen and projector. Various sports trophies are on display. The bar is square, carpeted and furnished with bench seats and small tables. There is a larger round table in one corner, mainly used for card games. The room is formed from two earlier rooms, leaving a central pier which provides a backdrop for gaming machines, and there is a small open fire at the back. The only ale on was Doombar, which wasn’t that great. OK if you want to watch sports on the telly.
