There's no real ale on in here, just John Smith's Smooth crap (as it is now known), the usual bogstandard fizz, and Guinness of course (£2.30 a half). There was no sign of any food at early doors on Tuesday.
This is essentially an Irish pub, but thankfully no shamrocks or leprechauns, although I did spot a bit of Irish memorabilia on the walls. I think the barmaid was Irish. This pub does have something of a traditional feel about it. It's carpeted, seating is either upholstered fixed bench seating, or small stools and small round tables. You enter the pub into a small seating area; up a step and through an arch on the right and you're in another seating area; down a step to the front and right is the bar counter in an area which includes shelves by the right hand wall, and the inevitable tall stools. In the middle of the room here is a sort of large fixed tall table. At the back of the room is a fairly small area containing a pool table and a dartboard. There are TVs on the walls of course, tuned to a sports chanel during my visit.
The pub actually looks rather nice from the outside, with hanging baskets adding a lot of colour in contrast to the black painted facade, and with the bay window with large latticed window panes. But inside it's quite straightforward, and with the feel of a locals' pub. The lack of a real ale, and the fairly expensive Guinness, is a bit of a negative though. But it's a comfortable enough place if you're not concerned about such things.

Last pub on my crawl and what a change from the Cask. No real ale and many drunken loud Irish voices could be heard above the TVs. Not one to revisit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Pride of Pimlico
Basic estate pub located at the corner of a large brick-built housing block. Plain facade. Interior opened out to form a 'U'-shaped bar with two counters, with different parts up or down a step. Refurbished, with an Irish / sports theme. No real ale, but they did have keg Courage Best (£3.40) as an alternative to the inevitable John Smiths. On the plus side, the place is kept very tidily.

This is not the most welcoming pub and it wouldn't be out of place in a dodgy sink estate. Like any self respecting estate pub there is a standard draught selection along with three plasma screens for Sky Sports, a pool table and a mix of dodgy looking characters smoking in the entrance.
Pride of Pimlico – I don't think so.

The Pride of Pimlico is situated under a block of flats.
Once inside this pub was quite smart with carpets throughout and comfortable bench seating, there were no real ales on the bar and the keg options were John Smiths smooth crap or Courage best,i had a drink of Courage best which was drinkable.
The pub was very quiet on my late Saturday afternoon visit.
