Quite modern on the inside, this is a decent enough pub. 4 ales on during my visit. Not a bad place and I was glad I called in.

A traditional looking pub on the outside, but once through the doors you will find this to be very trendy pub. I would say that this pub had been recently refurbished as it was in tip top condition. The pub's layout consisted of an open plan room with lots of reclaimed timber cladding, colourful fabrics and feature walls in wallpaper, polished copper piping used for wall lamp fittings and a painted bar front.
The bar area was situated over on the right and had five ales on pump. The ale choice was all from Nationals so nothing over exciting there. The majority of the customers on this visit, had popped in for a coffee and a light lunch.

Covered in scaffolding on this visit. 3 real ales available. Not the best in Lichfield but just about acceptable. 3 cask ales available.

A nice enough town pub from the exterior; Georgian facade, painted black and white. It has a beer patio on the street.

The interior has just been refurbished - it is open plan yet the shape is pretty irregular, with lots of different areas for safas, fireplae, pool, TV. The decor changes with each area, white and gold wallpaper, with a french mustardy ceiling where i sat, but there were wood panel areas, white, white and red circular patterned wallpaper - it was different. Service was fine and the clientele mixed, though i feel it is more younger based - especially with the music channel on the TV - though it wasn't kiddy music on it. The place has a wood floor and currently feels clean and new after its refurb.

Beer was the tap usual stuff, with Pedigree (though not on) and London Pride on handpull. Not my favourite, but it was kept fine. No MILD.

The lack of my choice of drink would mean i wouldn't go back in, especially as there are so many good places with MILD or better real ales.
