Brainy Pool left this review about The William Gladstone

On the surface, some changes for the better here with a couple of local ales from Rock the Boat. My Fab Four tasted like earwax though. It’s still a soulless chain pub with no features and loud thudding music but there are far worse places around here.

Graham Coombs left this review about The William Gladstone

Busy and large mass-market sort of pub, no great shakes but considerably better than most of the establishments in the vicinity. Not that that is saying very much. Only GK IPA available at time of visit which did at least seem in fair condition (Cask Marque accreditation).

Al Bundy left this review about The William Gladstone

A large, 2 floored, usually busy pub. The upstairs part is reached via the staircase to the left of the bar. Real ale is available but its usually a bland national. Lots of tellies for the footy. I don't particularly like it but it is popular so maybe I'm missing something.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The William Gladstone

The layout of the interior is quite similar to a Spoons. The service is ok and the staff are pleasant. This is the only pub in the city centre that sells Conwy Brewery ales. Three handpumps in use, I went for Conwy Shipwrecked.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The William Gladstone

Unbranded Stonegate pub, with modern decor and basic furniture. Dark away from the large front windows. More seating upstairs with a gallery overlooking the main bar area. Food offers. Just three handpumps two traditional and one bespoke modern one dispensing Bombardier (£1.15, half).
