A small one roomer that still claims to be the smallest pub in the UK, although I don't think that claim is true anymore. Lots of seating on decking overlooking the lake outside, but this wasn't an option on a cold and windy Tuesday. Spotlessly clean, the landlord was cleaning the fonts when we arrived. Two cask ales available. I had a pint of Parkers Viking Blonde. I'm not a fan of Parkers beers, they all have a strange aftertaste. This one was, sadly no different. The beer was well kept though, just not to my taste. Worth a call in for one on your way past.

strange pub that looks more like a cafe as you approach. Inside is a small, traditional affair popular with older drinkers today , much more seating is available outside on both sides with views of the lake. All very relaxing and i liked the simplicity of the place. Two real ale served, Moorhouses Pride of Pendle and Viking Blonde from the local Parker brewery. Well worth a visit.

A tiny pub on the lakeside (naturally). This has just the one small room but the mirrors that adorn the walls make it look bigger than it is. Friendly and pleasant. An outside terrace thingy for fair weather drinking is also to be found at the rear. Real ale available.

This friendly promenade pub has just been refurbished with the addition of a lovely outside decking overlooking the Marine Lake. London Pride is always on tap and in wonderful condition. There are a number of lagers on sale including Poretti. With no room for much else (this was in the Guinness Book of Records for Britain's Smallest Pub) this is a convivial homely pub. No juke box, fruit machine or TV it's ideal for a good natter with the locals.
