as Al says, the kind of pub you only seem to find in seaside resorts in Britain and abroad. not rough as such but utterly dire. advertises traditional ales and good food, serves neither of course

Sadly there are a lot of pubs like this in seaside towns. Crap beer, sterile surroundings and soulless. There are better pubs in Southport so spend you're hard earned, or fruit machine money somewhere else. Rubbish
