Still nothing for the real ale fan but plenty for the sports fan. I think Al is wrong - I counted 1376 tellies! Happily spent half an hour looking at the memorabilia. Seems to be called Bar Sports again now judging by the signage.

A massive barn of a place. As the name suggests its a sports bar. There's approximately 1,375 tellies so you won't miss a second of the footy. Lots of sporty memorabilia dotted around and it was nice to see the local team rather than some far off team taking centre stage. That said the place is pretty crap.

Bar Sport Walsall (now The Pitch Sports Bar!)
Not as good as it used to be! Apparantly changed owners, after the new owners lost their Bar Sport Franchise the place seems to have gone downhill!
It now has a limited menu, bad beer, and the place is empty at weekends!
Bring back Bar Sport!

A town centre bar, with a snazzy kind of exterior - with baseball bats as door handles!

The interior is open plan, a wood floor central area leading to a bar at the far end, with slightly raised seating areas either side. The decor is mainly red and blue, with lots and lots of screens showing all kinds of sports. There is plenty of sporting memoreabilia, a few pools tables and what seems like a small private screen area. Seating ranges from the comfy chair to the stool and the place is also a 'grill', though i didn't eat. The service was fine, the clientele younger based, but not intimidating in any way.

Beer; all tap stuff, sadly, but i had a Peroni, which was good.

This place is honest - it says what it is on the outside! The place had a good atmosphere and i enjoyed my drink. With no real ale, or MILD i am not really going to go back, but for the 'young uns', it seemed a good place.
