Another one of those awful All Bar One places. Like the others its expensive and the beer choice is woeful. All sparkly inside and open plan. No real ale. There are much better pubs around than this franchise.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about All Bar One

Housed in the ground floor of a fine brick building with a richly-featured façade, you know it's going to be all downhill from thereon in. Having set your expectations sufficiently low, you won't get too disappointed I suppose, but there is really nothing of interest within - just the usual corporate furniture, decor, music, menus and drink selection. With no real ale and the only vaguely interesting keg offering being 'off', I made do with an overpriced bottle of Adnams Explorer (£4.60) before moving on to find a pub.

Modern thin bar and eatery in Professional Quarter. Not a lot to say here really, modern fit out, no real ale, little character

A All Bar One chain corner bar and eatery occupying the ground floor of a fantastic Victorian building in red brick and stone that is in a mix of styles. It has nice Dutch gables and dormer windows and upper floors in mock-Jacobean. The ground floor has rounded windows.

The interior is a long room that passes the serving bar on the left and finishes with a raised area more for dining at the back. The walls looked like a coffee colour, like the high stools, with a wood and tile floor and coffee ceiling - it was hard to tell as the place was half lit by the candles on the pine tables. They do food, but i didn't eat so can't comment on that. I found the air vents in the ciling more interesting than the arty pictures on the wall, but the hanging station clock gave something to a place that on a personal note feels a little sterile. There was no TV that i saw and the background music was general and at a decent level. The service was really friendly and the clientele mixed.

Beer; no real ale, but i saw London Pride on keg. It is clearly aimed far more at the wine and continental lager drinker - with an excellent choice - i tried Estrella, from Spain - Peroni and others were on.

One for the suits really and those that like the wine/lagers. Not really my kind of place, but didn't resent my quick stop-off.
