Found this to be a clean tidy Wetherspoons when we were in, and the choice of beers did have guest ales available. Had Wold Top Voluptuous Vicky and Great Newsome Frothingham Best and both were in good condition.

Facing the Crown Court and named after three different reverends who used to run the church across the road. One of the better pubs in the chain as it always has several guest beers on. I've always been served a decent pint here as well. When I worked in Hull I sometimes ate here as there's a pleasant raised area to the right as you enter that always seemed to be fairly quiet. It can get very busy at weekends though.

Formally the Pease Bank then, closed then the PO.Pease family were the family that set up one of the largest Orphanages in Hessle and the name yes there were 3 of them all named John Rectors at the time too the church across the road Grandfather,Father and son.Usual boil in the bag food but still cheap has too be I use them all the time Club nights only though.Dont get too drunk in here the toilets are down steep stairs and the floor is slippery when wet. Before the toilets were refurbished unbeknown too me and a few others the auto flush in urinals was lets say malfunctioning hence the wet bit on your trousers?

Typical Wetherspoons, in what was once the Post Office. Usual range of food and keeps beers in good order. Broken up into different areas, which is nicer than a big room.
