Very much a locals pub, which stays open all day, where it's neighbour, the Black Bull, is closed in the afternoon. The entrance was scruffy looking with some extension cables along the skirting board. The main bar area was tired looking and the wallpapered walls looking 30 years old. There were a couple of locals in sitting at the bar, on my mid afternoon, mid week visit. One handpump with Hobgoblin from Wychwood.
