Old Boots left this review about The Waverley
Unprepossessing open to the public bar in an hotel. It comprises a large room divided into two or three areas with a long counter down one side. Food served in all parts. Four handpulls but only two in operation due to recent COVID restriction lifting, Abbott on one and Harviestoun Bitter & Twisted on the other, the Harviestoun was fine but not outstanding I didn’t try the Abbott. Plain modern decor and brown furniture, most seating for dining of course. Staff were coping reasonably well with a busy pub and under the extreme pressure of Scotland’s level 2 restrictions but all seemed about to descend into chaos at any moment.

A Great choice of guest ales to be had here, and they host the beer festival too.. Staff are good company,and the accomadation is lovely...
