Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Harbord Harbord (JD Wetherspoon)

Typical older-style 'spoons, with a relatively narrow frontage and an elongated dark, split-level interior. On the plus side, not a bad selection from the two banks of six handpumps, with J W Lees Gold, Maverick IPA and MMM Dark Mild (£2.49) from Brightside, Mad Squirrel's Pacific, Nottingham Supreme and Old Peculier being served in addition to the obligatory Ruddles, Doom Bar and Abbot.

This is what looks like a shop conversion and inside is an L shaped room wrapped around the bar with raised areas to the rear and right. It was busy on my Friday midday visit.
The bar has two sets of six hand pumps which had three available soon, three festival ciders, the recently watered down Robinsons Trooper, the two GK beers, Acorn British Oak, an International beer from Caledonian and one I couldn't decipher.
I went for the Pear Mania festival Perry (£2.99).
This is clearly a popular Spoons and I thought it was OK.

A compact Wethers with the usual array of handpumps on the bar. Sadly 5 of them today were "available soon". A raised area is opposite the bar. Busy on this Thursday afternoon visit. Its a nice enough place which seemed to be popular with Man City fans today.

A small but neat JDW in the centre of Middleton. Very busy on my Friday late afternoon visit. A decent, if not very inventive selection of 5 guest ales plus the usual suspects. My pint was in very good condition and the service was quick & friendly. Definitely one of the better JDWs in the chain.

Situated right in the centre of Middleton, and is named after the 18th century Lord of the Manor who developed the town.Called in early doors after seeking refuge from the elements, where quite a few other customers seemed to be in the same mind.Sampled a couple of pints of the Eland brewery Nettle Thrasher (4.4 abv)which was a quite decent pint
