Quite a messy ,slightly shabby pub but seems to be a few like this round the area.Narrowest island bar I have seen.Ouside back yard with seating.One pathetic stuffed mongoose(I think)behind the bar.I hate stuffed animals in pubs.Fairly busy.Three handpumps and about 10 keg beers.Hammertons -n1 Gypsyhill -beatnik and my Kirkstall -generous george which was good.

The Jackdaw & Star is a decent looking corner pub.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room with an island bar,the room is bare boarded,the seating normal chairs and unusual tables which had glass tops with different objects under the glass,these looked more like museum objects,all very strange in a corner pub in Homerton,these tables were at the front,there were stools down the left side plus lots of chairs around the bar.
There were three unclipped pumps on the bar,but for those who like overpriced craft keg beers there were a few,i had a drink of a beer called Redchurch Shoreditch Blonde which was cold,the other keg beers in noted were Tiger and something called Ska Morus Hoperande,not sure if these names are right as i know nothing about keg craft beers,not that i really want to anyway.
Quite a strange pub but at least it is open.
