Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old House at Home

Large suburban Greene King outlet, about 50% aimed at the family dining market by the look of things (including the Wacky Warehouse at the back). However, it was later in the evening when I visited, and most of the customers were watching live football on the large screens in the various seating areas on the other (over 18's) side of the pub. Also has plenty of wooden benches out front on the patios. Three main serveries on different parts of the central counter, each equipped with three handpumps clipped with IPA, Abbot and the guest triple-hopped Bitter Brummie from Birmingham Brewing (£3.15).

This is a detached 1930s Tudoresque coner pub and eatery, with patio area. In fact, it replaced a somewhat rural beerhouse of the same name, but which was located slightly further up the road. The pub is in red brick and moulded stone, typical of the period, with some cream rendering. The interior has been gutted out to form an open-plan space that is partitioned-up. The decor is pretty standard in these foody places; green, red, brown, cream and patterned wallpaperd walls, with a white ceiling and general carpet. The TVs had silent news on and the music was general at a decent level. The walls have the usual arty art on them to give the front room feel. The service was fine and there were a few locals in the place, although nobody was eating. The highlight was a table footy game - although I was convincingly beaten. Beer; usual tap stuff with an OK Hobgoblin on handpull. A generic food pub - rather unexciting.

Shouldn't say this but I detest the place for so many reasons I've not enough space. Awful beer in open-planned roomy house. Decorated in a style that doesn't suit it or the area its in. One of those kids Crazy houses next door. Nothing against the kids but their parents should have more sense. Totally dreadful - can I give it minus score please?
