Alan Winfield left this review about Market Inn

A decent looking pub from the outside.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which runs to the rear,it is bare boarded, the bar is on the left side, there are normal tables and chairs for seating.
There was one real ale on the bar,we had a drink of London Pride, which was decent enough.
Food was being served and quiet background music was playing.
Nothing special about this pub.

Soup Dragon left this review about M.I. Bar

A traditional looking pub and eatery from the outside - formerly the Market Inn. It is now a cafe/bar and has a large patio area out front. The bar is in red and traditional stone blocks, with nice stone mouldings, a couple of string-courses and a Dutch gable capped with finials.

The interior is a modern single room with the serving bar down to the left when entering. The decor looked like peppermint green walls, a white ceiling and a wood floor. There were lots of mirrors and a few flower pictures on the walls, along with vases with black flowers in them and seating was in the form of; sofas, stools, comfy chairs and general tables and chairs. There was no TV that i saw and the background music was general and at a decent level. They do food, but this wasn't on at my visit, so can't comment on that. The service was fine and the clientele consisted of a few locals.

Beer; usual tap stuff really, with St Austell Tribute and a really nice pint of Caledonian Nectar on handpull.

Not really my kind of place out of personal taste, but i won't whinge about the beer.

Philip Carter left this review about M.I. Bar

Used to be called The Market Inn, but the new name seems to mirror the modern interior. Lots of metal on show. The bar seems higher than usual. Sells real ale and serves food all day. The garden area is in the square ouside, table service is available. Too modern for my liking, but others will disagree.
