Marston Green, found along the northern perimeter of Birmingham Airport, has a single pub, the Marston Green Tavern. There’s parking out front which is managed by a private parking company so don’t forget to enter your car registration on the tablet at the bar counter. The bar counter is double sided serving a left-hand public bar with seating, a pool table and a dartboard and a long split-level right-hand lounge. Value food is served from the Sizzling Pub’s menu, the pub was busy with both diners and those watching racing on the televisions throughout during Gold Cup week and Cheltenham. The service was very friendly, but the only draught options were standard keg and Peroni. I don’t think anyone would travel far to visit here, but it’s doing a roaring trade with no competition.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Marston Green Tavern

Sizzling pubco outlet with an elongated facade and two separate entrances. The front door leads to a fairly basic bar, whereas the side one is labelled 'Lounge' (which also acts as the dining area), and both parts - linked by a door beside the back-to-back counters - have been refurbished at some stage. No real ale unfortunately, so made do with a keg M&B Mild (£3.15) before moving onwards.

A good friendly pub which does reasonably priced meals, the bar as a big screen and pool table. Out door sheltered smokers area in garden at the rear.

This pub sits opposite the main parade of shops and is easy walking distance from the railway station.

Its larger than it looks with a large seating area at the rear. It has an open plan bar & lounge with comfortable seating and has the feel of a larger roadside chain pubs.

It does need a lick of paint inside but it feels friendly and comfortable.

Draft beer is Marstons Pedigree and Brew 11, kept ok.
