Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bricklayers Arms

Very basic two-bar pub, with only the left-hand side (featuring the pool table) in use when I visited. Just two small tables in addition to the padded brown banquette seating around three sides. No real ale of course, and just a poor duplicated selection - including Worthington's (£3.30) - from the four keg taps on each counter.

Soup Dragon left this review about Bricklayers Arms

This is a detached, and i think c1900 pub. The upper frontage is in cream brick, with nice Greenall's signage and the lower frontage is in rusticated stone. It looks quite neat. The interior has a couple of rooms, served from a central island serving bar. Only the small bar was open and i was the only person in, but the chap behind the bar was friendly, so we made fun of the reality TV programme on the box. There was no music. The room had brown covered bench seats and is in cream and white, with a red tile floor. There is little in the way of pictures, so it looks a little bare. Beer; no real ale, just the basic keg taps - i just had a shandy. One for the locals, nothing for the real ale fan.
