ROB Camra left this review about Hole In The Wall

This is one of those bohemian type pubs that Hebden was/is famous for. It's a "pub and noodle bar" for starters which is unusual. It's obviously an old pub and some of the features have been left intact. You enter through a short corridor and the bar is directly facing you. It's been opened out but there are still distinct rooms either side of the entrance. It has a eclectic clientele with a bunch of 20 something guys leaning on the bar, some office workers, a few goths/punks, a couple of obvious lesbians eating noodles and a few bewildered tourists. All human life appears to be here. There's a DJ rig in the area on the left, so it may well get noisy later on. I visited at about 7 on Friday night when it was busy, but comfortable. Four handpumps on the bar serving some interesting beers and I went for a Bridestones Sandstone which was well kept. All in all I quite like this pub and will definitely return when next in Hebden.
