This place has the rudest staff I have ever encountered. I was witness to the landlady shouting and shushing a BABY. This child wasn't crying but giggling. It was 3pm ....and the place was near deserted. It was easy to see why. Talking later to some of the locals and looking online this is not the first time that the service has been atrocious. These people give Scottish tourism a bad name.
GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS

stopped at Port Logan Inn on the 1st june for a drink a a meal .never ever again .Waited a hour for food didnt mind as was told this when it arrived My husbands starter looked like out of a jar sherry herring it was ,then he had lamb curry which barely had a spice and the rice was microwave.I had the ham salad the salad being inedible as the dressing was greasy ,when we decided to complain the landlord was quite rude and he got quite angry .He then had the cheek to charge us for that inedible slop .My advice is just go for the views as the food is rubbish and the landlord is like Basil Fawlty

Drove round there for a spot of lunch. Cant speak of the beer but the Landlord was bringing on TT Landlord. Very friendly place with the locals great craic. Sarnie was very good and the specials board was very varied.

Situated right on the seafront in the small Galloway village of Port Logan, where the TV series 2000 Acres of Sky was filmed. It’s the only pub in the village . There’s a friendly welcome in the bar, good service and good food available. Several guest ales are on offer, such as Speckled Hen and Landlord. It has fabulous sea views, there is an outside seating area. Car parking opposite.
