Old Boots left this review about Bingley Brew House

A massive refurbishment of this place since I last visited, the counter has moved to an end wall, the walls are in light grey but enlivened by painted on adverts and drawings. Furniture is a mix of “wood on scaffolding” tables and stools at on end and leather armchairs and sofas at the other; in between is a row of casks as tables with medium height stools. Big industrial lights over the counter. Six hand pulls flanked by fat pipe work keg tap housings, national favourites for the kegs and Yorkshire for the cask with beers from Goose Eye, Saltaire x2 and Tetleys wherever that’s made, it tasted ok with only a hint of seafood. Spirits and cocktails also feature. Probably a better evening venue and likely to be more up market than Mavericks, the staff might be more visible then as well. Not sure where the brew house bit comes in.

Rob Hunter left this review about Bingley Tavern & Ale House

Now the Bingley Tavern & Ale House. Though on walking past this lunchtime the only pump I saw clipped was Tetley Cask. The others were either unclipped or had the clips turned round. If there had been more choice I may have called in. Maybe next time!

Old Boots left this review about Old Queens Head

Recently reopened after a period of closure, it looks refurbished with a nice stone/tiled floor and some ecclesiastically styled woodwork. The counter has four pulls, only clipped with Tetleys which wasn't on as the reopening was so recent the cask order hadn't arrived yet. The usual kegs are on the T Bars. Furnishing is all traditional with benches and wooden tables and chairs, there are a couple of big screens and a blackboard shows a list of forthcoming events every night of the week. Being newly opened there were no other punters but the couple running it are enthusiastic and I hope they will make a go of the place, the building is attractive and well fitted but the landlord thought the location slightly out of the centre of things even though Bingley's pubs are all within a very short distance of each other. There is a resident ghost who isn't pleased at the pub reopening and has scared the pub cat into leaving never to return, so far.
