Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Fox House

Popular Vintage Inn atop Burbage Moor on the main road between Sheffield and the Hope Valley, also close to the National Trust's Longshaw Estate. Modernised, L-shaped, slightly split-level arrangement of various seating and (mostly) dining areas given quite a light look. Just Black Sheep and Doom Bar available from the three handpumps.

2nd Visit - Stunning location. Lovely fires and pub furniture. Who can resist a Chesterfield.

Jaipur on draught - a first time seeing this. £4.70 - so not exactly cheap.

Perfectly suited for my needs - after a long day out on Stanage Edge walking.

Packed at 3pm. Lovely roaring fire. Busy bar and unusually, my presence was instantly acknowledged and told I would be served soon.

Three real ales on and I went for a £3.10 Black Sheep - which was wonderful.

Food and rooms looked good value.

Everything I needed.

January 2012 Party of 18. We did pre-book and a whole section of the eating area had been reserved for us. They came to take our food order at the table but not drinks which was a bit awkward. However, food was very hot, very well cooked and very tasty. Portions were very generous and prices were about average for this area. The area we had was very quiet (no through traffic, no loud noises etc) and so the experience was very enjoyable and I would certainly recommend eating here.
