Steve C left this review about Rosie McCann's

This was one of the busier pubs on my crawl of the area a couple of Saturday nights ago and the lively crowd of mixed ages that were in attendance seemed to be enjoying their local. It is a U-shaped pub with a large bar area meaning that the seating that surrounds it is quite narrow, but there is an added on room at the back that has a pool table, flat screen TV and jukebox. There is another flat screen TV and jukebox in the main bar area and as the TVs were off dance music was blasting out around the pub. The genre probably changes throughout the night depending on who is choosing the music at the time; I suppose that is the point of having a jukebox. There are a few Irish signs around the bar area and I saw another sign pointing towards the smoking patio out back that I did not visit.

I found the service to be very friendly and as this is an Irish bar there are no hand pumps, but my Guinness was spot on. Food is served, but only from midday until 15:00 for the lunchtime crowd.

This is the sort of pub that has a loyal local foundation and is worth popping into if, like me, one likes the late Irish bar format, but it’s probably not a place to go out of the way for.
