Graham Coombs left this review about The Ginger Goose

Big modern barn of a place in the bottom of an office block which on a weekday afternoon was full of old blokes grumbling into their pints. This could well have been because the back of 5 handpulls is sadly disused, despite signs promising real ales on the outside. The only bitter available was John Smiths Smooth, with sundry Eurofizz. For those so inclined it has many sports TVs and various entertainments including bingo and disco nights. Not one I shall be revisiting.

The Ginger Goose looks like a Spoons pub,but it is not.
Once inside there is a very large single square shaped room with the bar facing, the room is carpeted, the seating is mainly normal tables and comfy chairs, there is a slight raised area to the front right, plus a raised area to the rear left which could be used has a stage.
There are two banks of five or six pumps, with the right bank not having any beers on,this still left a decent choice of real ales to choose from,i had a drink of Saltaire Blonde which went down very well and was also quite cheap, the other beers noted were Tetley Cask,Imperial By Eck Lad and one from Coach House.
Background music was playing, most customers on my pre 11am visit were older men drinking beer.
I quite enjoyed my longer than usual visit here, by watching the world go by outside.

Similar to a generic JDW but without the beer choice. A massive barn with nothing in the way of features apart from loads of big screen TV's. 10 handpumps on the bar, but only 3 beers available. To be fair the Salamander Winter Chestnut Warmer was in good nick, but that's the only positive.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ginger Goose

Large, if basic, city-centre boozer with plenty of cheap food and drink offers. Anonymous furniture and decor. Lots of sports TVs and loud radio commentary of Bradford City football game when I visited. Four of ten hand pumps, with a better than expected offering of Tetley's Cask, Salamander Sweet FA, Saltaire Blonde and Cottage Blueberry Bitter (£2.90).

Somehow in the Good Beer Guide 2014, this place is a poor modern offering. There is nothing architectual either outside or in, it has a wetherspoons-like interior with lots of sports screens around.

The beer quality was poor on my visit, thogh there is a good choice. The only difference between this & other large city centre chain pubs is the staff here seemed to be very customer focussed.

Biggish 'spoons-alike one roomer in a modern building opposite Bradford's ornate town hall. All the usual modern accoutrements of light wood, big screens, a mix of leather armchairs and low sofas in a slightly split-level and balustraded open space. Ten hand pumps of mainly locals ales in good condition justifying its place in the 2013 GBG. There is another room upstairs but this was closed when I visited. Handy for Bradford's bus and train interchange hub thingy

Recently re-opened and not particularly impressive. One of those plastic palaces with the "buy one, get one free" mass produced meals. Its only redeeming feature is that it did have quite a few real ales on the bar but not particularly atmospheric. I'd much prefer to visit the City Vaults or Shoulder of Mutton round the corner from this place.
