Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Swift

Remodelled bar / American-themed restaurant, still owned by Fuller's (but you would never know it). Mixed furniture, most set aside for dinning, and attractive - if eclectic - decor. Large front windows, fully open on a warm summer day. Relaxed atmosphere. Now very much a craft beer bar, with eight keg taps and plenty of bottles, but expensive (e.g. Anspach & Hobday 'The IPA' at £4.95). However, it does still have two handpumps but these are to be found on the real wall either side of the keg taps and thus hard to spot.

Very scruffy convertion for a Fullers pub.Now a Fullers Craft bar.About 10 keg beers but no cask beer. The beer choice was pretty mundane.Brooklyn lager-Meantime wheat Veltins- and Fullers frontier lager were some of the choices.Craft Lite or Craft for beginners possibly. This was Fullers chance to shake up the beer scene in Putney.Sadly not.

This is a Fuller’s house with the standard range, except that the Chiswick was off. The London Pride was good, but not cheap at £3.25 a pint. They do food, advertised on printed sheets affixed to clipboards on the tables. Mains are in the £7 - £9 range – e.g. cod, chips and peas at £8.50. Sarnies are around the £6 mark, except that they were doing an off peak deal of some kind, knocking them out at £5 a throw. I had a Cumberland sausage and caramelised onion baguette, which would normally have been £5.50, and was OK without being anything special.
This pub is typical of a dozen other Fuller’s high street acquisitions/conversions that I’ve been in. It’s bare boarded, has the standard high stools and high tables; sofas and coffee tables in the window areas, plus some normal height chunky tables and chairs. Everything is upholstered in a dark brown plastic. There’s nothing on the walls worth mentioning. This is a pretty ordinary place, and not really worth going out of your way to find unless you are a fan of Fuller’s ales.

The barmaid in here didn't look like she wanted to be there, but she was very fast – which is more important! Lots of Pride pumps and one Seafarers alongside standard lagers.

I didn't rate the pub much, but it is ok compared to the other offerings I have ventured into in Putney. There are 2 plasma screens and a little background music was on during my visit as the screens were muted.

The pub has been done up but I think that it still looks a little tatty. There is a raised dining area at the back of the pub, but what's the deal with the fire exit being camouflaged as a bookcase – My thoughts are that it is a little tacky and a dangerous.

To sum up, not great but I've seen a lot worse!
