The majority of this inn is used for dining, with a long L shaped dining room taking up the front right hand corner, plus a large conservatory taking up the full length along the rear of the pub, also taking up space for dining. The entrance lobby had the original Victorian floor tiles and the two rooms either side of the main entrance were traditional in décor, one of which had dark green patterned wallpaper. The large bar area faces you as you enter, which had four handpumps with three beers on, Wainwright, Blacksheep and Moorhouse's World Cup beer named Bolshie, which was a clone of Moorhouse's White Witch.

This pub is just off the A59 near Clitheroe The bar offers quite a few guest beers, but is mainly geared up for the diner as to the pub regular The menu has an extensive range of choice, and is served with generous portions with the quality being excellent On Sundays a carvery operates from 12 till 3 It sometimes gets a bit busy on a Sunday but is always well worth the wait The pub has a large car park and a spacious grassed area at the rear of the pub. Why not try the Worston whale i am sure you wont be disapointed.
