Danny O'Revey left this review about Ginger's Bar

Modern decor bar with bistro at the rear, various novelty seating areas, dimmed lighting. The long bar is on one side.

Its all very plush

2 real ales Hook Norton Lion and Banks's Sunbeam, served too warm for my taste.

Soup Dragon left this review about Ginger's Bar

This is a place that has had many incarnations. It is a 60s office block and this unit is on the ground floor. It was Pollyannas, Tressines in the 70/80s (nightclubs) and most recently, Must. It is a part of Purnell's chain, in Brum. The place is more open at the front, which is the lounge area, and it narrows off to the back, where the Bistro area is. The decor is grey and white, with brown patterned wallpaper, with a wood floor. Bistro art is on the walls, and there are high stools, lower seating and pine tables dotted about. I didn't see a TV and the music was festive and at a decent level. The service was very friendly and an office party was in, enjoying the place it seemed. Beer; Birra Moretti on draught, i did notice... however, my eye was taken with an unexpected real ale - Theakston's Xmas Ale, which was well kept and quite spicey. I had my 19th in here, when it was Tressines - this was a much nicer visit - far better than what i expected.... due to a real ale being on.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Ginger's Bar

Partnering Glynn Purnell's Asquith restaurant, Ginger's is a distinctly upmarket bar (albeit housed in the ground floor of a rather hideous 1960s office block). Very modern furniture and decor. Slightly surprisingly, it has two handpumps offering Adnams Explorer and Brains Milkwood in addition to fonts for Krombacher, Moretti, Pilsner Urquell, Symonds Founders Reserve and Guinness. Table service, unless you are sitting at the counter, but not quite as expensive as one might expect.
