Although the bar is quite small, which can make it slow to get served, there is plenty of seating in the different rooms inside, a couple of benches out front and a garden to the rear (past the kitchen and up the steps). Beer is always good quality here. Check opening times if you are making a special journey (closed Monday evenings except Bank Holidays).

This is a stone built pub about a 10 minute walk from the middle of Hope. It was full of walkers and they seemed welcome here,the pub is on different levels there were four beers on the bar these were Wentworth WBA which was very drinkable,Peak Swift Nick,Copper Dragon Golden Pippin/Bitter this is quite a decent pub.
