Tastefully refurbished Edwardian (I would guess) pub in small village. Large bar at front with beams and some panelling giving a homely feel; small dining area at rear has old panelling painted in lighter colour which gives it a brighter feel, opening through to larger conservatory which is nice but sadly only has views of the car park. Nice garden to side. Three ales on at time of visit from national rather than local sources, but condition good. Food very good indeed and worth a detour.

The food here is nothing short of excellence on a plate, I've never had a meal from here that I've not thoroughly enjoyed, and the prices are extremely good value for money. The atmosphere is extremely friendly and family orientated.
