This is a fairly large Wetherspoons pub on a street corner close to Tower Bridge. The interior is split level, with the bar at the far back in what is essentially a separate room. There is a huge amount of seating throughout, so finding somewhere to sit tends not to be a problem. The walls were adorned with a lot of pictures of the Thames, as well as a number of large mirrors and several TV screens which were showing subtitled rolling news coverage. There are large windows at the front which are good for watching life go by, which is preferable to watching the dubious clientele within the pub.
The bar has twelve handpumps which on my visit included two Sambrooks ales, two more from Westerham, Brains SA and Adnams IPA. My pint was served by a cheerful barman and was in good condition.
There are some good pubs in this part of town, and I'm not sure that this 'Spoons does enough to merit repeat visits, but it's not bad by the chain's own standards and I wouldn't advise against stopping off for a quick pint.

I thought this was a standard issue 'spoons, nothing exceptional but functional for a quick beer. This visit was part of a pub crawl and my lack of note taking ability by the time of arrival means no details on the beers on offer, there seemed about six handpumps. The pub itself was quiet and I failed to notice any original features.Quite a confusing subterranian route to the lav,my return to the bar included a short trip into the broom cupboard. Not an obvious candidate for a revisit.

It wasn't that busy on my recent visit here, but I still had to wait a while for service as I happened to walk in during a shift change. That aside this is a reasonable Wetherspoons' pub with 12 hand pumps (6 ales) and a selection of standard draught. Unsurprisingly the pub is big for the area, but the crowd was a lot more affluent and there was a much broader spectrum of ages than found in the average JDW.

I think that there are better pubs in the area, but I would go back here without a fuss.

A rambling Wetherspoons with the usual selection of Wether beer,a single bar with a couple of drinking areas. not one of my favourite Wetherspoons
