Modernised open plan foodie pub, wooden floored with mixed seating. A half decent beer selection was to be found from the four hand pumps on the bar,Triple fff Moondance, Cotleigh Soratchi, Pie In The Sky OPF and Cross Bay Omega. Beer aside not my kind of place.

Next to the airfield and all those airshows must have paid for the mega refurb I walked into - pretty much brand new, with the entire front section knocked through to create one very long room with a separate discrete restaurant room off right. Grey/blue Farrow & Ball paint, exposed brick walls, brushed steel bar top, tasteful laminate flooring and copper top tables. Mute TV news. Quiz, live music and open mic nights advertised. Four pumps with three on; Cotleigh and 2x Dorset Brewing Company. Plumped for a half of the two DBC brews (Fossil Fuel and Flashman) - £2.05 a half but in good shape. Out back down some steps is a large beer garden you can enjoy the planes coming in at chimney-skimming heights to land next door, though sadly it's all paved and rough slated – some greenery here wouldn’t go amiss, feels like it’s this way for ease of maintenance rather than punter comfort. I left fairly impressed – not one for the traditionalists but in light of what else Farnborough has to offer, this is worth a go. 6.5

The Swan Inn is a gastro pub located at the end of the runway at Farnborough Airport so expect low flying business jets and the odd plane enthusiast. There is a decked terrace at the rear of the pub that affords views of the airport and a large marquee that must be used for some events was also in situ. The interior of the pub is quiet long and thin with the bar located in the centre with seating either end of it. Pride, Otter Amber and Hobgoblin were being drawn from the three hand pumps on the bar and there was also a standard draught selection alongside Staropramen and Peroni. Being a gastro pub the food is on the pricey side with a burger costing around £9 and pie and chips costing over £10, whilst a half of Guinness came in at £1.90. There is no sport shown here, but there are regular live music nights including an open mic night on Wednesdays and live music on Sunday afternoons from 13:00. There is a late license until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays and accommodation is also available.

This pub is a bit pricey, but I think that it is worth a visit if in the area.

A two bar pub. One seems to be geared up for entertainment, with Juke box, pool table, dart board, fruit machine. The other is more comfortable. Lots of seating/tables and a dining area, though you can eat anywhere. Sells real ale. Has seating out the front, although this may get a bit noisey, as it's right by the road and the whole pub is at the end of the Farnborough Airport runway, great for aeroplane enthusiasts.
