Alan Winfield left this review about Slaters Arms

The Slaters Arms is a decent enough looking pub that is situated on a busy road and a short walk from the middle of Romford.
Once inside there is a small oblong shaped bar room to the front which was pretty basic with a pool table and tall stools for seating, there is a larger lounge to the left which is irregular in shape but roughly runs to the rear, this room was carpeted and had pew seats and and chairs for seating, there was a small stage halfway down the left side.
There were no real ales on the bar,so it was an half of John Smiths smooth crap which it was.
This is a pretty basic pub that most PUG members would not consider doing.
It was almost empty on my Thursday dinner visit.
