Revolution is a cavernous bar within two arches underneath Deansgate Tram Station, in fact the place vibrates as the trams pass overhead. There is exposed red brick throughout and serving counters are found along the left and right walls. Only one was in use during a recent early midweek evening visit when there were only two other customers. The furniture is a mix of standard and high tables with a few sofas thrown in. At the rear is a food serving area with a couple of dumb waiters to the kitchen. The menu consists of pizza, hotdogs and burgers, the latter being priced around £11. The service was polite, but I bet it’s a nightmare in here at the weekend when the dance music is thumping and the disco ball is spinning.

One of the better bars along Deansgate Locks. It's a big bar under 2 of the arches. It's all bare brick walls and a variety of seating inside. There's also a large outdoor area. No handpumps of course, so I just had a half of some fizz. It's where you'll find many of Manchester's plastic people on a Friday & Saturday night until about 4.
