Steve C left this review about Beefeater Quay House

I’ve stayed in the adjacent Premier Inn and used the Quay House (Beefeater) for breakfast on a few occasions. The Premier Inn breakfast is served upstairs with nice views overlooking the Quays.
Downstairs, the open plan bar is served by a counter that runs along the rear wall. This supports a standard and premium keg range alongside two hand pumps, one was drawing Wainwright, but the Sharp’s Doom Bar on the second was off during a recent weekday evening visit. To the left of the entrance are a couple of televisions that were showing BT Sport, I don’t believe Sky is shown.
Out the front is some seating with views over the quays. Car parking is shared with the Premier Inn, remember to register your car at the bar for the 3-hours free parking to avoid a parking ticket.

This is, as you would expect, a mainly food orientated place. Though I didn't have as bad an experience as ROB below I did find the place to be bad. Awful service and, too be honest, an awful place to be. This was my first experience of Salford Quays/Media City and my last.

If you're looking for a pub called The Quay House, you won't find it by looking for the signage. All the signs on the walls simply say Beefeater. Quay House is only mentioned over the door. This is mainly a restaurant really as being a Beefeater would suggest. There is however a small area to the left as you enter with a bandit and a quiz machine that isn't set up for dining. There are also some tables outside on the quay which would be pleasant in Summer. There are 2 handpumps serving Doom Bar and Wainwright, sadly I couldn't get any though. A woman was being served a food order at the till when I went to the bar. As she finished being served another woman walked up and queued behind her. The barman ignored me and served her first. Another woman then went to queue behind the second woman. I thought "sod this" and left. It's a pub not a bloody McDonalds you numpties!

I'm pretty sure Quay House is two words but regardless, this is the best pub in the Salford Quays area. Great food, both in the restaurant upstairs and the pub food downstairs.

A little out of the way, this place has a Beafeater restaurant upstairs and now has a Travel Inn next door. Food and beer both good. Nice to sit outside here in summer by the quays.
