Aqualung . left this review about The Roebuck (JD Wetherspoon)

This is a fairly typical Spoons dating from 2003 so it has a slightly more modern look than the wooden based shop conversions. There are 10 pumps all of which were in use and selling Growler Hell Hound, Wharfebank Lanterne Rouge, Yeovil Spring Forward, Wadworth Fat Head's Rocket Man, Hobgoblin, the usual GK suspects, London Pride and two ciders. Given it's GBG listed a Locale option would have been good. I went for the Fat Head's beer which was in good nick at around £2.50.
All in all it's a decent Spoons that is better than most.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Roebuck (JD Wetherspoon)

Fairly standard 'spoons, but a bit unusual in that it does have a proper pole-mounted pub sign out front. Reasonable choice of beer, but I thought that my pint of Mauldon's Black Adder was a bit flat (which is surprising since JDW normally turn over their real ale so quickly that it is normally in top condition).

typical wetherspoon pub not always a good choice of real ales, normally busy lunch times with "foodies" but a nice conservatory area away from the road
