Like DY5 - I called here a couple of times recently a Friday evening and most recently last Saturday lunchtime (30/9/17. On both occasions it was shut.

After no luck next door getting served next door at the Wetherspoons gave this one a try and got served speedily with a friendly barmaid although there was only 2 other customers in at the time.This is a large one roomed affair that had a couple of beers on offer but will struggle to compete with the Spoons next door,certainly in the day time.
