A modern bar appealing to the younger generation. At street level is one large room with a bar at the end and a kitchen servery to the side. One corner has movable partitions and can be hired, as can the other bar downstairs. A few tables under an awning provide an outside area. Mostly serving a range of craft and euro keg, but a couple of handpumps offered Sambrook's Wandle and Powerhouse Porter with the latter in excellent condition.

I have walked past this pub on quite a few occasions and thought it was a Spoons and presumed I had reviewed it ages ago. It is in fact a Greene King outlet, so I thought I'd give it a go. One thing I do agree with from the reviews below, is that the staff are very friendly and chatty. The interior is modern, with a long bar positioned along the right hand wall. The wall behind the bar was exposed brick, the bar counter was solid oak, with a painted bar front and some opaque glass globe lamps hanging down along the length of the counter. Three handpumps, with two in use on our mid week visit, serving Trumans Lazurus and GK IPA. I went for a pint of the Trumans, priced at - wait for it, £5.40 a pint. Very overpriced in my opinion for the back end of Holborn.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Square Pig

Fair-sized bar / restaurant with a 'L'-shaped layout featuring semi-modern furniture and generally light decor in the main space and side dining area. Very busy post-work, even on a Wednesday, but the staff were friendly and efficient. Also has a few tables out on the terrace along the side façade. Three real ales on handpump: Greene King IPA, Twickenham Sundancer and Sambrook's Pumphouse Pale (with a hand-written clip, £4.00).

One room modern style but very basically decorated.Absolutely mobbed with the office crowd.Sambrookes -lavender hill and their own Trotters ale. Some decent keg beers from Meantime.

Decent enough place for a stop off and a good bar for work functions as it has a selection of drinks to satisfy most, including a couple of ales. Plenty of room and some outside seating.

Adnams Bitter and Broadside were both available along with a premium lager selection and my Guinness was well served by the friendly barman. The lighting is a tad too dim for me and there were too many people being served food from the hatch which was lit up like a beacon in comparison to the rest of the pub. I spotted a couple of screens that I'd imagine show the football, but as there was none being played these were off making way for some background music. The pub itself is of a good size with plenty of seating and there is also some covered seating outside along the side of the pub.

This place is ok for a pint or two after work, but I wouldn't want to stay all evening as I found it a little bland – which was more to do with the clientele than the actual pub.
