The Common Room is next door to the Forum.
There is a narrow entrance through a small shopping arcade, then you go up lots of steps.
Once inside this is a massive bar with different areas, the main bar room is oblong shaped with a long bar running down the left side, there are two pumps at the far end of this bar.
The seating is a mix of normal tables and chairs and bench seating, there is a seperate room to the right whch had two pool tables and a bar football table, then there is an even larger room to the rear which had about 12 pool tables in it.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Welbeck Abbey Red Feather, which was a nice drink, the other beer was Bradfield Farmers Blonde.
The bar was packed on my Saturday afternoon visit but i managed to get a seat, all pool tables were also in use.
This is not really my sort of bar,but if you fancy a game of pool and a decent drink of real ale, this would be decent place to go.
