Two All Bar Ones in one day is not my idea of fun and they were very, very similar except this one didn't have the children in it. Standard stuff.

As described below, this is a typical ABO on multiple levels. Music was a little loud for comfort and service was glacially slow, the result of women buying cocktails. No longer serves real ale, the closest thing being Meantime's London Pale Ale on keg, which along with a couple of pints of Peroni and an Amstel, came in at a whisker under £20.
This place is fine if your presence is requested here, but otherwise you know what you're getting with the brand.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about All Bar One

Rather hidden away on the Villiers Street side of Charing Cross station, with steps down to the busy bar area. However, it is much bigger than it first looks because there are a variety of seating / dining areas on two levels. So a slighly unusual layout, but otherwise little different to any other of this chain's outlets. Still offered real ale on my previous visit a couple of years ago (although that was always a bit hit or miss), but that's now gone as elsewhere. Indeed, no draught bitter of any description any more, so I opted for a quick Meantime London Pilsner (£2.50, half) which was about the pick of a very sparse bunch of keg offerings.
