Not the best pub in Chorley and just about acceptable. Open plan inside with a few brick columns running through the middle of the pub. Pool table area to the left. Lots of exposed brickwork inside. 4 handpulls on the bar but it looks as if only one is ever in use and this dispensed Moorhouse White Witch. A clean and tidy enough pub but there are much better pubs in Chorley.

One of those pubs you know about but avoid. Not any longer. Place has been spruced up and is now clean and tidy. One real ale on Hobgoblin which was a nice pint. Friendly and attentive bar staff. Music on the loud side but not unpleasant especially as was towards the end of the night.
Another pub that seems to have pulled itself up and deserves support even if just for a quick pint on the way to somewhere else. Interestingly the lane pubs have really made an effort and after a bad few years should now give an alternative to the town centre.
