I am sorry to say that this pub has gone down hill greatly in the last couple of years since the previous landlady Jeanette left. It used to be clean tidy and friendly with good beer served. Now it is full of young thugs at the weekends when there is a DJ/Kareoke, the place stinks to high heaven (you have to go in to believe it) despite undergoing a recent refurb. The present landlady does not seem to be interested and often closes early, contributing to the decline of the pubs in the Plunginton area.
