Revitalised pub on the edges of Stockport town centre. There's a small room to the left as you enter and a larger, divided room to the right. There were 4 real ales on the bar during my Friday afternoon visit and also 4 real ciders on handpump, plus several more available from boxes etc. They had just finished serving food when I visited, but the menu looked good value. My pint was in good condition and I found the landlord and the couple of regulars in the left hand room to be very friendly. It's a bit of a walk, but it's worth it.

It's a great pub for cider and ale. There is a full feature on the pub here: http://blog.beerbook.co.uk/post/15503798307/ye-olde-woolpack

Pub is now run by Quinn Family as a Real Ale and Cider pub. Also they have a large selection of German Beers and fine menu of very good food. Entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights with more ideas to follow. Very friendly pub with well mannered staff

Lovely Pub, run by Andrew and Sarah. Always at least two (usually more)hand pulled cask bitters. there is also a large selection of draught and bottled lagers and a good selection of soft drinks. The Pub also does lunchtime meals and bar snacks 7 days a week.

This Pub has recently been awarded the Cask Marque for excellence and is regularly included in the local CAMRA literature. It is also regularly in contention for both the Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA Pub of the month. I would recommend a visit to this lovely pub. There is always a warm welcome whether you stop for just a quick drink or are out for the full day/evening.
