We call in the Viper once or twice a year. This time we chose lunchtime on one of the first warm days of spring, and it was very busy. The food trade seems to have increased which is inevitable. Still one of our favourites. Explore it when it is quiet.

Great little pub set in the middle of a woodland about 2 miles from Ingatestone.Three seperate drinking areas with one room being on the CAMRA national inventory list.Great real ales mostly from Mighty Oak With Hissed Off being brewed by them for the pub.Good food is served and there is a large outside drinking/eating area. This great pub can be hard to find but when you do find it you will not be dissapointed.
