just getting back from 2 days in bowness wish i had found this pub sooner..beer reasonably priced...but the carvery meal was out of this world the cheapest and biggest and best roast dinner that £3.59 could buy X-CELLENT value THANKS VERY MUCH!!!

What a pleasure to find such a place as good as this in an overpriced and overated area. The value for money carvery must be about the best value in the country. It was well cooked and looked appetising to tuck into. The management must be praised for the manner that this establishments run. WELL DONE. Also the bar prices will not let you feel that you want to leave the district all together
