Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hopbine

Tucked away in a hamlet between Brenchley and the A21, this attractive Kentish cottage-style pub looks a picture. The 'L'-shaped, split-level interior has been mostly opened-out at some stage, but with plain wooden furniture and limited traditional decor it retains a timeless feel. However, in a slight concession to modernity, it does now do a limited pizza menu. There are also a few wooden benches out front. I remember it from the days that it was the only King & Barnes pub in Kent, then going to Hall & Woodhouse after the takeover but now a freehouse. On this long overdue revisit, I found Tonbridge Traditional, Gun Pale, Long Man Best Bitter, Isfield Red (£3.80) and a local Turner's from five of six handpumps. Well worth seeking out.
