Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Hawkenbury
Country pub at the end of a small terrace on the road between Staplehurst and Headcorn; so, although it is located in a hamlet, it does get some passing trade. It has a pleasantly traditional interior, food is offered (indeed, there are two smart dining rooms) and various events are advertised. There is a large beer garden (with children's play area) at the back and further patio tables along the frontage and by the side entrance. Just Doom Bar (£5.00) from the pair of handpumps on this revisit, which also featured a sighting of Dolly the pet sheep on a lead...

Very friendly staff, regular Jazz night (if you like that stuff). We had good meals and my mate tried a couple of beers. Gravesend Shrimpers Bitter and a Truro ale (maybe Scoggins, can't read my notes)
