The Potters Wheel is a large food led Sizzling Pub’s run establishment so expect large meaty meals at low prices. The large L-shaped bar is stocked with standard keg products and supports three hand pumps. One of these was unused, but the other two were drawing Greene King’s IPA and Sharp’s Doom Bar. To the left of the bar is a pool table and seating set for dining is found in the rest of the pub. Plasma screens for showing Sky Sports are located throughout and there are many gaming machines. Out the back are a few picnic tables that are picket fenced off from a large car park.
I found the service to be polite and, although not great, I find this pub chain’s venue to come in handy as I have a young family that likes to ‘dine out’.
