Bucking Fastard left this review about Fools Nook Inn

Situated opposite the swingbridge over the Macclesfield Canal ,a real effort has been made on both the ale and the food front, both very good.Constantly changing 3 guest beers means ale drinkers are well catered for and the service was friendly. The interior is clean and functional without any distinguishing features but I wouldnt hesitate to return.

Thuck Phat left this review about Fools Nook Inn

On the main road and by the canal, this is an attractive and well kept pub. Inside is split into two areas, to the right for boozing, although you can eat and to the left are tables laid in restaurant style. Service is cheerful and attentive and, as we ate, we were bought beers at the table. The food was hearty, tasty and good value. There is clearly an effort being made to serve quality ale and we were asked what we thought about the beer. Three ales are offered, which seem to be rotating guests, Waggledance, O'Hanlan's Goldblade and Shugborough Gardener's Retreat. The latter was excellent and well kept and we said so. A very good boozer for both a pint and a meal.
