I cannot believe I am the first to review this pub! Fantastic little country pub in the middle of the dales. Two main rooms on entering, all laid out for dining but the patron is quite happy for people to sit and drink. Central bar with 4 hand pulls that on our visit had 3 ales from local breweries, all perfectly kept. AJ the manager is quite the host, very chatty and keen to please his customers. The Pub also has a large extra dining room to the side, which I expect gets pretty full in summer. The Parkers arms has 4 rooms upstairs, 3 doubles and a single. they are not luxurious but perfectly suitable to sleep off a heavy night in the bar. The main bar sports a roaring coal fire to warm your joints on and mostly tables and chairs. There is some comfortable seating in the second bar, but this room is dominated by a large dining table and chairs. This is about my only criticism, there could do with some more soft seating. Massive car park to the front, leading to a large beer garden with stunning views. The toilets are clean and well stocked with soap and towels etc. Will call again if I am ever in the area.
