A friendly 'brew pub' with a good selection of 'cask ales' and draught cider. I tried the pub's own brew, Whalebone Diana Mild and Neckoil Bitter and found them excellent.

I worked at Distillers Co. Ltd., Saltend with Chris Barley who's mum ran the pub. I helped out on Saturday lunch time and also played in the darts team. It was a busy pub at lunchtime because Sam Allen (Demolition Contractors) yard was next door.If anyone can tell me where Chris is now, please let me know via comments page. Thanks. George
I visited the pub on 4.02.06 and it is well worth a visit. They brew own beer on the premises and the walls are decorated with all sorts including Hull City memorabilia

George, I too can recommend this pub as I used to live there! Yes, this is Chris Barley, now living in Brisbane Australia, but a frequent visitor to Hull.
